UMK Announces Job Vacancies for Language Teachers
TUESDAY I 27 FEBRUARY 2024 - In its continued efforts to expand its educational offerings, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) has announced vacancies for part-time and full-time language teaching positions. The university is seeking dynamic and skilled educators to contribute to their language department, with a focus on Bahasa Thailand, Bahasa Mandarin, Bahasa Jepun (Japanese), and Bahasa Perancis (French).
Positions available include 'Pengajar Sambilan' (Part-Time Teacher) with a maximum monthly remuneration of RM 1,500 and 'Guru Sambilan Sepenuh Masa' (Full-Time Teacher) with a monthly salary of RM 2,188. Applicants are expected to possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least a second-class honours in a related field accredited by the university.
Candidates should have at least a credit in Bahasa Melayu at SPM level or equivalent and are required to have a proficiency in English, with a minimum qualification of MUET Band 3 or similar.
The application period is open from 27 February 2024 to 7 March 2024. Interested individuals are required to submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV), academic transcripts, and proof of qualifications, including diplomas and language proficiency certificates such as MUET, TOEFL, or IELTS.
